Eliza Flores
Eliza “Lisa” Salsedo Flores, 95, of Hilo died Oct. 3, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kalopa, she was a homemaker and member of Trinity Community Assembly Of God Church.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. Oct. 9 at Trinity Community Assembly of God Church for a service. Friends may also call at 9 a.m. Oct. 15 at Diamond Head Memorial Park Mortuary on Oahu for a 10 a.m. service, followed by burial at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Family requests casual attire be worn.
She is survived by son, Ismael (Judy) Flores of Pleasant Hill, Calif.; daughters, Violet Wadkins of Kaneohe, Oahu, Judy Ater of Hilo, Lucy (Stephen) Meek of Pepeekeo; brothers, Albert (Lou Ann) Salsedo of Sun City, Calif., Raymond (Josephine) Salsedo of Hayward, Calif.; sisters, Clara Burgo of Aiea, Oahu, Margaret Ferreira of Waipahu, Oahu; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert Abe
Robert Hidenobu Abe, 87, of Keauhou died Sept. 13, 2014, at Life Care Center of Kona. Born Aug. 29, 1927, in Kealakekua, he was a commercial artist, grocery store cashier and Army veteran.
Private services were held. Family requests no monetary gifts.
He is survived by brother, Francis (Kathleen) Abe of Kealakekua; sisters, Pearl Uemoto of Kealakekua, Grace Hiraoka of Palos Verdes, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
